Online Learning Assistance

Opportunity: "Bridging the gap between students and technology for improved learning."

Strategy: Online Learning Assistance (OLA) is an anytime-anywhere approach to learning assistance (that is online study groups or tutoring) that allows students to access learning support via the internet at times and locations convenient for them. OLA is delivered via WebCT© (another Title III initiative) and includes chatrooms, discussion threads, online quizzing and review sheets. OLA targets LSSU's traditionally difficult courses and, in many cases, enhances our "Supplemental Instruction (SI)" program.

For more information on OLA, contact Carolyn Rajewski, Learning Assistance Coordinator, at (906) 635-2294 or crajewski@lssu.edu.
