Dr. Cliff is from Cheboygan, Michigan. Her term expires January 27, 2010. Currently she is the President/CEO at Cheboygan Memorial Hospital. She has extensive nursing and administrative experience and has been a public speaker for many years on a variety of topics. Dr. Cliff has published articles in professional journals and has won numerous awards for professional achievement including most recently, the 2006 Health Care Leadership Award from the Michigan Health and Hospital Association and the 2006 Pisaneschi Prize for the Best Research Presentation from Western Michigan University. She was also the recipient of the LSSU Outstanding Alumna Award in 1998 and has served as the LSSU Alumni Association President. She received her registered nursing degree from LSSU and also holds masters degrees in public administration and health services administration and a doctorate in interdisciplinary health studies from Western Michigan University.
