Patrick Egan is the former publisher and owner of the Evening News in Sault Ste Marie, MI and the Cheboygan Daily Tribune. He spent nearly 20 years in journalism. He is an owner of Little Rapids Corporation, a Wisconsin forestry-based manufacturing company. He has served on the company's independent board for 17 years, eleven as board chairman. Mr. Egan graduated from Denison University and has two children who have attended LSSU. He and his wife Debra live on Lake Superior in Brimley, MI. Governor Granholm appointed Mr. Egan to the LSSU Board in 2008.
