Mr. Schmidt is from Rochester Hills, Michigan. His term expires on January 27, 2010. He is a portfolio manager for private and institutional clients with Seizert Hershey and Co. LLC of Bloomfield Hills. Since graduating from LSSU, he has held a several positions in financial planning, estate management and banking. Before joining Seizert Hersey in 2000, he worked for seven years with Loomis Sayles and Co. LP as portfolio manager and co-manager of the firm's Investment Counsel Group. He serves on several non-profit boards and is a Chartered Financial Analyst candidate. Mr. Schmidt received his B.S. degree in Business Administration in Economics and Finance in 1975 from LSSU and a master's degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University in 1980.
