SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – Lake Superior State University's freshmen are inviting community children to campus on Halloween night for trick-or-treating in the residence halls.

"We'd like the children of our faculty, staff and community members to join us here for trick-or-treating in a warm and safe environment," said Roberta Payne, LSSU freshmen residential life coordinator.

Residents of Osborn and Brady Halls, the freshmen women's and men's residence halls, will be passing out candy to trick-or-treaters from 6-8 p.m. on Halloween night, Tuesday, Oct. 31. Payne said children should start out in the lobby of Osborn Hall to find out where the candy is located.
