LSSU softball team looking to clean your house, yard

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – Members of Lake Superior State University's softball team are looking to raise money by helping local residents with household chores and yard work.

This is the fifth year of the team's "Slave for a Day" fundraiser, held annually in the fall to help area residents rake leaves, clean gutters or wash floors. What started as a day-long activity may be extended as needed, according to team captain Erin Retherford.

"If your house or yard is in need of a facelift before winter hits, please let us help," said Retherford. "Donations for our time are greatly appreciated and our services can be extended through the entire year. Let us clean your house!"

Retherford said interested persons may contact her at 248-408-7794 or Don Myers, team coach, 906-253-9541. -LSSU-
