SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – Lake Superior State University's Alumni Association invites everyone to downtown Detroit over Memorial Day Weekend when the Tigers host the Colorado Rockies on Sunday, May 24. The Association has arranged a special, one-price package that includes a discounted game pass to Comerica ballpark and a buffet lunch.
Tickets are $60 for adults; $55 for children, students and LSSU Alumni Association members. The price includes admission to the ballpark, a buffet lunch prior to and one hour into the game on the Dew Deck, a special Lakers "Roar With The Tigers" T-shirt, and chances to win door prizes. The Dew Deck has picnic tables with space for 90 LSSU alumni, students, friends, and fans.
As an added bonus, Sunday is "Kids Day" at Comerica Park. Children 14 or younger get a Tigers promotional item during the game, enjoy free rides on the Comerica Bank Carousel and Fly Ball Ferris Wheel, and free face painting. Weather permitting, after the game they will be invited to go down onto the field and run the bases.
