LAKER GOES LAKERS – The Great Lakes freighter Manitowoc locks up the St. Mary's River on Sept. 4 with the blue and gold standard of Lake Superior State University gracing her foremast. LSSU alum James Bearman's nephew and ship's master, Capt. Pat Hart of Rogers City, Mich., struck up the LSSU colors for the first time on a Lake boat.
