DEAR PROFESSOR – When students of Lake Superior State University fisheries professor Ashley Moerke finally found her super-secret fishing spot, all they had to show for a day's work were two tiny perch. So they donned special "big fish" glasses and sent this snapshot to Moerke, who was amused and continues to disavow the lake's location. Shown left to right, with academic major and hometown, are Paige Filice (Conservation Leadership; Lansing, Mich.), Jessica Kosiara (Biology; Alpena, Mich.), Kelly Turek (Fisheries and Wildlife; Mayville. Mich.), Amanda Chambers (Fisheries and Wildlife; Midland, Mich.), and Michael McCarthy (Conservation Leadership; Edmore, Mich.). (LSSU/Courtesy Amanda Chambers)
