Marie, Mich. Charter school leaders and board members from 12 academies toured LSSU's performing arts, business, natural science, and aquatic research laboratory facilities. LSSU charters ten academies with plans to add four more during the next year. Michigan now allows academies to operate at multiple sites with the same grade configuration; LSSU will have four academies with two or more sites next year.
