AIRBORNE REMEMBRANCE – Lake Superior State University students and staff release 231 balloons in memory of the number of Michigan victims lost in the September 11 attacks and since then in the War on Terror. The biodegradable balloons were released over the school's Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., campus at 10:28 a.m. Tuesday morning, 11 years to the moment that the World Trade Center's north tower collapsed in New York City. (LSSU/Drew Putvin)
