LSSU alums, coaching staff to play Harlem Ambassadors basketball

Posted: October 26th, 2012

SCHOOL OF SPINOLOGY – Lake Superior State University basketball guard Kandace Crittendon, left, gives spin pointers to LSSU alum and Sault, Mich., mayor Tony Bosbous, as Laker coaches Danielle Lindloff (women's basketball) and Tim Christian (hockey) look on. The trio will join forces with other area notables to take on the Harlem Ambassadors basketball team when they come to the Norris Center Cooper gymnasium on Monday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. Bosbous and crew will serve as light-hearted foils to a comedic type of basketball virtuosity the Ambassadors are noted for around the world. The game benefits the Kinross Lions Club. Advance tickets — $5 students (LSSU included) and seniors; $7 adults — are available at Allstar Graphics, Allstar Sports (in the Norris Center's Taffy Abel arena), Sault Area Chamber of Commerce, Sault Area Career Center, Rudyard High School, Brimley High School, Pickford High School, and H.O.M.E. of Mackinac County.
