LAKER LOCK-IN INVITE – Rachelle Donakowski, left, and Nicole Stratelak, both members of Lake Superior State University's volleyball team, get word out about a kids "lock-in" coming up this weekend in LSSU's Norris Center. They joined teammates from the volleyball, cross country, tennis, and track teams in visiting Soo Township school on Nov. 28. The annual event, sponsored by the LSSU Student Athletic Advisory Committee, features Laker athletes offering activities like basketball, obstacle courses, and arts and crafts for first- through eighth-grade kids. Lock-In 2012 runs 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2, with $10 registration per child beginning at 1:45 p.m. in the Student Activity Center. (LSSU Photojournalism Student Malloree McLeod)
