WHITE OUT WEEKEND – Lake Superior State University organizers pose with a sponsor poster for the "White Out Game" on Friday, Feb. 15, in Abel Ice arena, when the Hockey Lakers host the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. The fourth annual event encourages fans to wear white in support of an international campaign against domestic violence. Commemorative White Out t-shirts will be handed out free to hockey fans, while supplies last. Several community agencies — including the Diane Peppler Resource Center, LSSU Counseling Services, LSSU Campus Life, and the Michigan State Police — will also be staffing resource tables in the Norris Center Lobby. From left is Sharmay Wood, Scott Korb, Joe Loomis, and Cindy Lowry, all with the University's campus life office. This year's evening is a collaborative effort between the EUP Sexual Violence Prevention Team, the Diane Peppler Resource Center, and Lake Superior State University. (LSSU/John Shibley)
