Pianist Sandra Wright Shen talks shop with LSSU piano class

MEASURE FOR MEASURE – Concert pianist Sandra Wright Shen moderates an informal discussion of music in Prof. Robert Aldrich's Sept. 12 piano theory class on the Lake Superior State University Arts Center stage. Shen opens the Arts Center season at LSSU that evening with a public recital at 7:30 p.m. Shen has made guest appearances with the Taiwan National Symphony Orchestra, Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra, Redlands Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Moment Musical, and the Young Artist Chamber Concert Series at the Kennedy Music Center. She currently teaches at the Brevard Music Institute and is now working on a classical music program to be broadcast on PBS. Tickets for her LSSU performance are $10 for general admission, $8 for seniors and $5 for students, and available on-line at or by calling 906-635-2602.
