Posted: January 3rd, 2014

DANCERS WANTED -- The LSSU Dance Program will be holding auditions for both the spring dance performance and the LSSU Dance Company from 7:45-10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, in the LSSU Arts Center dance studio, room 209. All adult male and female dancers, actors, production support, musicians and any adults who can "move from one location to another" are welcome to audition for the spring dance concert, "Fractured Fairy Tales." Character sketches will be available outside the dance studio door in the Arts Center at 7 p.m. on Jan 15. Auditions will consist of some dance, movement, and character improvisation. Three Fairy Tales -- fractured, re-written and put to music and dance by Prof. Deborah Choszczyk -- will be revealed at the auditions, along with all production information. Auditions for the LSSU Dance Company spring semester will occur the same evening. Dancers must audition for this credited class (DANC110). Auditions will consist of a ballet barre, modern center floor combinations and character improvisations. Everyone will be asked to fill out an availability schedule.
