May (snow)showers bring June flowers

Posted: May 28th, 2014

BEST TO COME – Lake Superior State University student Kati Doty soaks up the sun - and spring daffodils - at the university's Ryan and Easterday entrance in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., on May 27. After a slow start to spring, LSSU grounds crews are planting annual flowers by the hundreds. More than four varieties of flowering tree, including magnolia, should be in full bloom by the weekend. Doty, from Sault, Mich., begins as a business major in the fall. Click here to book a tour of campus. (LSSU/John Shibley)
