Posted: May 30th, 2014

LAKERS IN CHINA – Lake Superior State University business professor Ralf Wilhelms speaks to a class at Shaoxing University on May 26 about business culture and other topics as they relate to teachers. Wilhelms joins psychology professor Russell Searight in Shaoxing this summer as part of an exchange program that started last fall when two Shaoxing professors – in psychology and English instruction - visited classes and exchanged ideas with LSSU faculty about instructional approaches and research. Wilhelms hosts 81 students in a condensed International Business class that meets every Tuesday and Friday for three hours. He is also working with the university's research institute to enhance collaboration between Shaoxing and LSSU. Shaoxing University, located 100 miles south of Shanghai on China's central coast - is a four-year university with 23,000 full-time students in 58 undergraduate degree programs.
