Posted: August 4th, 2014

AIRS OF AUGUST – Members of Lake Superior State University's Dance Company - Anna Lehman and Jenna Perry in the foreground - take to the air during a performance at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan's Downtown Days on Aug. 1. The company presented a variety of performances, from classical to jazz, to elements of modern impressionism. Students also sold homemade tutus as a fundraiser for the group. Looking on from the lower right are Camille (foreground, age 3) and Noelle (2) O'Shea, both from Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. Run a Web search on "LSSU dance" to read about upcoming audition, performance, and public-outreach events. Lehman is from Millersburg, Mich.; Perry, from Sault, Mich. Both are coming into their junior year in Nursing. (LSSU/John Shibley)
