International Week: Japan & Jamaica

Description: Find out more about your world during International Week! Today, Japan and Jamaica are featured. Find out about Japanese culture during a presentation at 2 p.m. in the Cisler Center's Huron room and during a traditional meal served during dinnertime at the Quarterdeck. A presentation on Jamaica begins at 7 p.m. in the Huron Room.

Lake State After Hours

Description: Join your fellow alumni, employees and friends at Lake State After Hours. Look for the Laker flag and you will be treated to discounted prices on the following Barefoot wines: white zinfandel, chardonnay, Lambrusco and merlot all for only $3 per glass. There will be free appetizers for all attendees and door prizes for the lucky few. You can RSVP to, or you can just show up! You'll be welcome either way, and you are sure to enjoy your time with fellow Lakers. Lake State After Hours is open to Laker alumni, fans, the community and LSSU faculty, staff and students. Laker Cinena presents The Hobbit -An Unexpected Journey

9:00 PM until 11:00 PM

Organization: Campus Life

Description: A younger and more reluctant hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, sets out on an "unexpected journey" to the Lonely Mountain with a spirited group of dwarves to reclaim their stolen mountain home from a dragon named Smaug. Come see this Laker Cinema presentation at 9 p.m. on Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
