Description: The 25th annual Zoo-de-Mack is one of the most scenic bicycle rides in the country, featuring a lot of sunshine and views of the mighty Mackinac Bridge. The ride (not race) starts Saturday morning at Boyne Highlands Resort parking lot. We will be waiving the Laker flag and gathering for breakfast to enjoy Dr. Poletti's famous ZOO-berry pancakes! The ride spans 51 miles along Lake Michigan on a paved road with very little automobile traffic. Last year, 4,000 people participated. Riders pedal through rolling countryside and trillium-covered forests, along sandy beaches, and are surrounded by views of Lake Michigan from 400' bluffs. We stop approximately halfway at the Legs Inn to eat lunch and swap stories. The ride continues on to Mackinaw City and bikers can stay and celebrate there or go on to enjoy festivities on Mackinac Island. Register online before May 3 for a discount at:
