Alpha Kappa Chi 48-hour Teeter Totter-a-Thon

Description: Come support the Diane Peppler Resource Center and the Epilepsy Foundation by visiting the sisters of Alpha Kappa Chi for their annual teeter-totter-a-thon. From noon on Friday until noon on Sunday, the sisters will be braving the fierce wind, snow and rain. If you would like to help support the cause, whether it be with a donation or just keeping the girls company, please contact Nicki Drielts.

Fall Fling Open House

Description: Prospective students and their families and friends will be on campus this weekend for our annual Fall Fling open house. They'll be able to tour campus,enjoy an LSSU tailgate party, catch a hockey game, and more! Find out what it's like to be a Laker at LSSU's annual Fall Fling.

Saturday Football Specials at Grill 155

Description: The Galley and Grill 155 will be offering up the following college football food specials on Saturday afternoons this fall from 1-4 p.m...Burger or hot dog basket for $3.99, mozzarella sticks for $2.49, large fountain soda, $1. Come on down and watch some college football!

Kids College

Organization: SAILS

Description: Attention parents! Saturday, Oct. 27, is the second annual Kids College. If your child likes science and/or labs and experiment bring them to Kids College. Drop off is at 1 p.m. in Crawford Hall's lobby, with pick up at 3 p.m. in the same spot. Parents are welcome to attend if they want. There will be different science activities for ages 5-12. LSSU students running the Kids College are very experienced, and have a lot of fun, interesting activities planned. This event is free of charge and open to alumni/current students with kids and parents of current students who have younger kids.

Seamore Shuttle

6:00 PM until 10:30 PM

Organization: Campus Life

Description: The Seamore Shuttle is a free service provided by the LSSU Campus Life Office that takes LSSU students to places on the business spur such as Family Video, Big Lots and other stores in the Sault Plaza, as well as Varsity Cinemas, and downtown locations. Pick-up and drop-off is at the Walker Cisler Center. Shuttle runs from 6-10:30 on Friday and Saturday, and 1-10:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Laker Cinema presents The Dark Knight Rises

9:30 PM until 12:00 AM

Organization: Campus Life

Description: Eight years on, a new terrorist leader, Bane, overwhelms Gotham's finest, and the Dark Knight resurfaces to protect a city that has branded him an enemy. Starring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway. You will have three opportunities to see this Laker Cinema presentation: Thursday at 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday at 9:30pm. All show in Peacock Cove of the Cisler Center.
