Infrastructure Upgrades Continue Across Campus

You may have noticed a flurry of construction and upgrade activity going on around campus. Johnson Controls, a major energy efficiency company, has been working with LSSU on a number of campus improvement measures. Just a few of the most recent improvements include:
- Heating and ventilation controls updates at the Kenneth J. Shouldice library, Administration Building, Fine Arts Center, Fletcher and other buildings for more efficient energy use
- LED lighting upgrades at the library as well as outdoor high mast lighting for higher quality light at lower wattage
- Roof replacement at CASET
- Water heater upgrades
- Door sweeps, door insulation and window seals at the Student Village, Student Activity Center, the Norris Center and other buildings
- Plumbing upgrades – toilets and urinals that use less water at the library, Norris, Crawford and a number of other buildings
