Professional Experience

Before teaching at the Lukenda School of Business, Professor McCready gained significant experience in the public accounting field. She worked for SMART Business Advisory and Consulting, LLC in Chicago, IL from 2008 – 2009 where she was a Tax Senior Accountant. She was also an Audit and Tax Senior Accountant at Dennis, Gartland, & Niergarth in Traverse City, MI from 2000 – 2006.

Professional Experience

After graduating with a Master of Science in Finance, Bob joined a family enterprise that included automobile dealerships, a leasing company and commercial and residential real estate holdings. During this time he also became an adjunct instructor at Sault College and Lake Superior State. He has delivered training programs in Performance Management, Professional Selling Skills and Customer Service for clients including Holiday Inn, Ramada Inn, Water Tower Inn and the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. He has served as President of Hospitality and Travel Sault Ste. Marie and a member of the Board of Governors for Sault College. He is a Wendy Kennedy Certified Entrepreneurship coach and has conducted Entrepreneurship coaching sessions on behalf of the Product Development Center.

She even has her Real Estate License, for the state of Florida! She has also won many grant proposals in excess of $4 million!

Professional Experience

As owner and manager, Professor Philips developed and administered market research to create a unique women’s fashion footwear store, Heels. She oversaw and directed all buying, pricing, advertising/promotion, display and merchandising decisions, as well as hiring, training and supervision of full-time and part-time staff. Professor Phillips got her start as Product Director for McNeil Consumer Products Company/Johnson and Johnson Baby Products Company. She conducted and analyzed research and development strategies, prepared annual marketing plans and engaged in new product launches.

Prior to joining the Lake Superior State faculty, Koral worked as a business litigation attorney downstate in Holland and Grand Rapids. In that role, she worked with many businesses, including cannabis and CBD clients facing licensing and compliance issues.

Professional Experience

Dr. Wilhelms originally comes from Germany. He brings excitement to the classroom everyday with his big personality! As an International Marketing Guru he still travels very often as a visiting professor at Shaoxing University in Zhejiang, China. He currently is also the Principal/Senior Consultant at E-Strategy Net. In the past he taken part as: Senior Consultant at Game Time LLC; Executive Vice President/General Manager of Brento Corp where he led the process of corporate change and restructuring of a major league professional sports franchise in Southern California; Founder/Chief Financial Officer of Let’s Play Sports Inc. the number one owner and operator of Indoor Sports Facilities in the United States.
