Lake Superior State University School of Engineering and Technology seniors are set to showcase their design projects to classmates, faculty, families, and the public on Friday, May 4. Presentations and demonstrations are 1:30-5 p.m. in the Center for Applied Science and Engineering Technology.

Students compete in inaugural entrepreneurship competition at LSSU

Lake Superior State University and the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation (EDC) teamed up with Americaโ€™s Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) of Michigan to host the inaugural, Get Real! Entrepreneurship Competition. The daylong event was held April 13 in R.W. Considine Hall on Lake Stateโ€™s main campus, and invited competitors from universities and community colleges across Michigan and Ontario.

Lake Superior State Universityโ€™s Lukenda School of Business hosted 22 Sault Area and Brimley high school students for the inaugural Superior Case Competition on April 6. Sault Area High School fielded four teams; Brimley, two. The top three teams received cash to benefit their schoolsโ€™ business programs.
