LSSU receives gift to fund the Discovery Center at the Center for Freshwater Research and Education (CFRE)
The Center for Freshwater Research and Education (CFRE) received a $700,000 gift from Dr. Connie Baker to fund the Discovery Center. The Discovery Center will display exhibits that highlight the importance of the Great Lakes and will also provide visitors with a tourist destination on the banks of the St. Marys River.
