Purpose of the Symposium: To provide a venue for students to present their research in chemistry,ย chemical engineering, and related fields. This symposium will be an excellent opportunity for students, faculty, and the community at large to learn about the interesting research being
conducted up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! The event is sponsored by the Upper Peninsula Section of the American Chemical Society.

Intended Audience: Undergraduate and Graduate students, pursuing research projects through externally-funded grants, guided independent study, or as part of a course. No Cost to Present!

Location: New Science Facility Atrium, Northern Michigan University Campus, Marquette MI Presentation Format: Poster presentations, maximum size 3 feet high x 4 feet wide

The deadline for abstract submissions is March 8th, 2018

Awards! We will be judging posters and offering prize money to the best overall posters and presentations. Many awards will be given! All presenters will receive a gift from the UP Local Section.
