Yes. As part of our on-boarding processes all new students are taking the ALEKS PPL test in preparation for orientation. The only exception to not completing the ALEKS PPL is if you have completed a college level mathematics course that is transferring into LSSU. The results of the assessment will help guide your academic advisors to finalize your registration at Orientation.
All students are required to take the ALEKS-PPL exam. If students do not complete the ALEKS test prior to Orientation, they will be able to take the test on campus during Orientation.
Will I receive a confirmation of my orientation registration?
Yes. Students will receive an email confirmation to their LSSU email account.
