Why should I take summer courses?
Summer courses are the perfect way to catch up on classes you’ve missed, or get ahead in your degree. Plus, with the 30% off special rate, you’ll be able to keep more of your hard earned cash.
Can I receive financial aid?
Federal Aid eligibility will be determined upon application. Please contact the Financial Aid Office to determine your eligibility.
When are the deadlines to add or drop a class?
May 6: 4-Day Add and Drop begins.
May 9: Last day to add and drop 12-week and First 6-Week classes at 100% refund.
June 14: Last day to drop 12-Week classes.
June 17: Second 6-Week classes begin. 4-Day Add and Drop begins.
June 20: Last day to add and drop Second 6-Week classes at 100% refund.
Are summer classes more intense than fall and spring semesters?
Yes, but in the best way possible. Instead of spreading the class out over 16 weeks, we condense everything you need to know into 6 or 12 week options with more individualized attention in smaller class sizes.
Are there any employment opportunities at LSSU?
Yes! You can now view and apply for jobs under LSSU Student Employment Opportunities on the Student Tab within Anchor Access when you are logged into My.LSSU.
Will these credits transfer?
Guest students will need to verify with their university that the credits will transfer prior to registering.
How many credits do I need to be considered full time?
12 credits are needed to be considered a full time student.
