Join us for the LSSU Library Scholar Series as we welcome John Sheffler, Producer and Host of Our Front Porch on CMU Public Media. With over 30 years of concert recordings, John will take us on a musical journey through the Emerald Isle—from the first Irish band featured on his program in 1982 to the final recording in 2014.
Expect lively jigs, soulful laments, and spirited reels—but don’t expect Danny Boy! This event is the perfect way to get in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit.
