College and community come together on Sat., Nov. 10, for Triple C Fest, a marketing student-run event held 2 – 5 p.m. in the Cisler Center’s Ontario Room R.W. Considine Hall. Triple C Fest offers the 3Cs: a chili cook-off by local restaurants, cornhole tournament, and community games. A cover charge of $5 for adults – $3 for children – lets you sample all chilis and vote for the community restaurant winner. Raffle prizes include a Laker hockey team-signed stick, gloves, banners, as well as various event tickets, local art, and restaurant vouchers. All proceeds go to the Chippewa Communities that Care (CCTC) to help fight substance abuse.
