Bridge Crossing Listening Sessions

November 7th, 10:00 AM until 3:30 PM

Description: When crossing the International Bridge, have you ever wondered why you are sometimes asked odd questions by customs officers or why it sometimes seems that bridge wait-times fluctuate from hour to hour? You can find out answers to these questions and more during two Bridge Listening Sessions sponsored by LSSU Admissions today at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. By attending, you'll have a chance to win of several door prizes, including a bridge arch tour, a piece of the bridge, and many more! During the sessions, officials from US Customs and Border Protection, Canada Border Services Agency and the International Bridge Administration will be on hand to briefly explain their operations and listen to concerns and questions from attendees. The goal of the session is to improve customer service, to the extent possible, by enabling bridge customers and stakeholders to share their concerns via direct constructive dialogue with customs and bridge officials while allowing those officials to see the customers' perspective. Bridge customers and stakeholders will gain an informed perspective via dialogue with officials and gain a more complete awareness and understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the three agencies.
