LSSU is planning a event to view the eclipse on Monday, weather permitting.
When: 2:00-4:30pm (maximum eclipse in the Sault will be approximately 80% around 3:15pm) on April 8
Where: meet at sidewalk area between Crawford Hall and Shouldice Library
What: view eclipse through telescopes with sun filters, projection of eclipse, and through eclipse glasses (to borrow and share).
Who: Everyone is welcome: Students, faculty, staff, friends, and community members
Facilitators: School of Chemistry, Environmental and Geosciences, Contacts Dr. Matt Spencer and Dr. Paul Kelso
Viewing of the eclipse is weather dependent. If it is cloudy and we can’t see the sun we will not be able to see the eclipse.
