Student Athletic Training Association Pancake Breakfast

Description: LSSU's Student Athletic Training Association invites you to enjoy a big breakfast (or lunch) while helping the students finance their trip to the Great Lakes Athletic Training Association Conference this spring in Chicago. The students are selling $5 tickets for a pancake buffet that will include raffles and a silent auction. Kids 5-under can eat for free. Tickets will be available at the door, too. NCAA Take a Kid to the Game Day

Description: Today is NCAA Take a Kid to the Game Day. Celebrate by bringing a younster to the Laker basketball games. All boys and girls ages 14-under will receive free admission to Saturday's men's and women's basketball games against Northwood if accompanied by an adult.

Film on Women's Suffrage: Iron-Jawed Angels

Description: The League of Women Voters and Bayliss Public Library invite you to a showing of "Iron-Jawed Angels," a 2004 HBO production recalling the enduring strength of several suffragists during a historic time for women and their struggle to gain inclusion at the polls. The film illustrates the sacrifice and determination found in women during the second-wave suffrage movement, specifically highlighting the leadership of Alice Paul and Lucy Burns. A discussion will follow and refreshments will be served. The film is sponsored by Bayliss Public Library, League of Women Voters, Chippewa County Historical Society and LSSU Political Science Club.

Seamore Shuttle

6:00 PM until 10:30 PM

Organization: Campus Life Office

Description: The Seamore Shuttle is a free service provided by the LSSU Campus Life Office that takes LSSU students downtown and to places on the business spur such as Family Video, Big Lots and other stores in the Sault Plaza, as well as Varsity Cinemas. Pick-up and drop-off is at the Walker Cisler Center. Shuttle runs from 6-10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1-10:30 p.m. on Sunday.
