Mich Center for Rural Health Forum

Description: Would you like to have a say in what health care services are available in Chippewa County for you and your family? The Michigan Center for Rural Health, in collaboration with local health care agencies, is hosting public health care forums to determine the top health care concerns and needs in our community. The goal is gain your input as we look ahead at the future of health care in our local communities. The forums will be held on campus today and at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 27.

EUP College Fair

6:30 PM until 8:00 PM

Organization: Admissions

Description: All high school students and their parents are invited to attend the annual EUP College Fair hosted by the LSSU Admissions Office on Sept 26. Representatives from more than 25 colleges and universities will be available to answer questions about applying for college, campus life, financial aid, and academic programs. Many academic departments from LSSU will be there. This is an excellent opportunity for students and parents to explore higher education options after high school!

Illusionist Ryan McFarling presents Placebo Effect

Description: Magician and illusionist Ryan McFarling presents his amazing show "Placebo Effect" as a fundraising event for Hospice of the EUP. Tickets are $20; students and children get a discounted price of $15.

Laker Cinema presents Fast and Furious 6

Description: Hobbs has Dom and Brian reassemble their crew in order to take down a mastermind who commands an organization of mercenary drivers across 12 countries. Payment? Full pardons for them all. Shows on Thurs.-Sat., Sept. 26-28, at 9 p.m. Get some Honors Program popcorn for your full movie-going experience! The students will be selling it at all three shows as a fundraiser for their program.
