The 30th annual Lake State Golf Classic in support of the Lake Superior State University Foundation Development Fund and Laker Athletics was held Friday, June 14th at Wild Bluff Golf Course. Including this year’s net proceeds, over $620,000 has been raised in support of the University and its students. More Than 500 Degrees Awarded at LSSU's 2019 Commencement

Lake Superior State University celebrated the momentous occasion of commencement on Saturday, April 27 at the Taffy Abel Arena. During the 57th Commencement Ceremony 561 degrees were awarded. Now fully equipped with the tools for success, LSSU graduates can look forward to a bright future, be it attending graduate school or entering the workforce. Chemistry, engineering, geology, nursing, and education programs all boast nearly 100% placement rates in public and private-sector jobs, or admission into graduate school within one year of graduation.

LSSU Joins CIGLR in New Strategic Partnership

Lake Superior State University has joined the Cooperative Institute for Great Lakes Research (CIGLR) Regional Consortium. This new partnership compliments the strategic investment LSSU has made in Great Lakes science and education with the development of the Center for Freshwater Research and Education (CFRE).
