School of Engineering & Technology
Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
A national organization geared to promoting women in the engineering and technology fields. SWE promotes the outreach of young women into the STEM fields and gives members resources to grow in their professional career. It is open to both women and men. Activities include attending the national conference which changes location each year, and the regional conference. We sponsor an engineering day with Girl Scouts, and put on a Mr. Engineer competition.
Members will be attending the Regional Conference in Nashville, TN in October. Contact Jennifer for more information. Our meetings are Tuesday evenings at 5 pm in the CASET lobby.
