Driving Directions

Let us help you plan your visit to the Arts Center. Whether you’re coming from Canada or already in the United States, we have some road directions to help you find your way!

From the U.S.

Sault Ste. Marie is at the northernmost end of I-75; travel on I-75 to exit 394 (the last before Canadian toll bridge), the Easterday Avenue exit. After exiting, turn right on Easterday Avenue and continue to the first stoplight. Turn into the main entrance of the University. At the first stop sign, turn left. You will pass the Fletcher Center, the Barnes & Noble at Lake Superior State University and next is the Arts Center. Turn left into the parking lot.

From Canada

Cross the International Bridge and immediately after the toll booths exit to your right. At the stop sign, turn left onto Eureka Street. When you reach the intersection, turn left onto the overpass and continue on this road (Easterday Avenue) until you reach the first stoplight. Turn into the main entrance of the University. At the first stop sign, turn left. You will pass the Fletcher Center, the Barnes & Noble at Lake Superior State University and next is the Arts Center. Turn left into the parking lot.

Arts Center Lobby

Main Entrance to the Lobby

Walking into the main entrance of the Arts Center, visitors will see the Art Gallery directly in front of the entrance. The Art Gallery exhibits works by artists from the Midwest. To the left of the Art Gallery is the Arts Center Box Office. Here, visitors can get information on everything going on at the Arts Center and purchase tickets to any Arts Center event. To the left of the Box Office, is one of two concourses where visitors can enter the theater. This concourse is called the East Concourse. It takes you to the theater’s even-numbered seats.

Purchasing Tickets

Options for purchasing tickets are online, over the phone, or in person. To purchase tickets online, click the box marked See Ticket Options below. To purchase tickets over the phone, call 906-635-2787. To purchase tickets in person, head over to the Arts Center and stop by the Box Office. You will find a friendly staff member ready to help you buy tickets.
