What to Bring to Campus!

Your room on campus will be your living space for the next few years and to get the most out of it we encourage students to make it their own. Visit Pinterest for some great decoration ideas but don’t forget all the basics that you will use every day. We encourage students to bring things such as board games, frisbees, volleyballs, bikes, things that will promote social interaction and growth.

  • The Basics

    Let’s cover the basics: we recommend that you bring room decorations, ID/passport, health insurance, dry erase board, area rug /carpet, umbrella, hangers, mini emergency kit, renters insurance, seasonal clothing, television, and additional seating. Visit the housing page to see pictures of your room and keep room space in mind when deciding what to bring.

  • School Supplies

    Bring a good backpack that can hold your calculator, notebooks, folders, pencils/pens, weekly planner, USB drives, mini stapler, highlighters, ruler, paperclips, etc

  • Bed and Bath

    Bring some twin XL bed sheets, pillows, comforter, towels/washcloths, toothbrush/toothpaste, dental floss, soap/body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.

  • Digital

    We recommended that students bring, a power strip/surge protector, microwave, extension cords (UL listed), batteries, Bluetooth speakers, fridge (5 cubic ft. per room), laptop, television, gaming console, printer, and a fan.
