On Friday, April 16th students from the LSSU Public Safety Dept., Nursing and Paramedic programs participated in an Interprofessional Simulation that surrounded around a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds to his abdomen. The IP Sim provided students the opportunity to learn with and from one another the various aspects of their different disciplines so they can take what they learned and apply it into real-world practice. The second simulation of this kind to be held on the Lake Superior State University campus was a great success and is held each spring as an annual simulated learning event.
