The Natural Resources Technology program stresses the acquisition of field skills necessary for success in a natural resources agency or organization, as well as the theoretical foundations for these applied skills. Practical knowledge is enriched by courses that emphasize communication skills along with the links between society, economics, policy, and natural resources.
This Associate’s degree can be completed as a stand-alone two-year program. The program also serves as the core for all B.S. degrees in the School of Natural Resources, which means that students completing a B.S. degree also recieves an Associate’s degree.
