Attending Orientation at LSSU

Yes, orientation is required for all new students (freshman, transfer, and non-traditional) attending our Sault Ste. Marie campus during the spring, summer, or fall semesters. Admission to LSSU must be complete to register and attend orientation. You must be admitted to LSSU in order to attend orientation.

During orientation you will…

  • Learn important policies and procedures that will help you succeed in your academic career.
  • Learn about the numerous university services that are available to you as an LSSU student.
  • Register for classes.
  • Have your picture taken and receive your Laker ID card.
  • Check out student organizations to get involved in as a Laker.
  • Become part of the Laker family!
