ComedySportz troupe, live and uncut!

7:30 PM until 9:00 PM

Organization: Academics

Description: LSSU's ComedySportz College Team will perform this week at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31 in the LSSU Arts Center. Everyone is welcome to check out the team. Tickets are $5. ComedySportz is improvisational comedy played like a sport. You decide who wins! A match features two teams of comedy "actletes" competing for laughs and points, with a referee keeping things moving and calling fouls. An average of 7-12 games are played during a match, drawn from a repetoire of over 100 improv games. Every show is different, with different players, different games, and different audiences supplying new suggestions. The fans judge the scenes and games and ultimately decide the winners and losers. ComedySportz also asks "willing volunteers" to join in for a game or two each match, and the team makes them look great!
