September 11 Commemorative Ceremony

10:00 AM until 10:30 AM

Description: LSSU will be marking September 11th with a brief remembrance that starts at 10:15 a.m. with a welcome by Pres. McLain, followed by the national anthem; Ken Peress on importance of remembering and the importance of those who served; presentation of a wreath by Daretha Yeadon (National Guard), Nic Harrington (EMS and Fire), Kevin Chamberlain (Public Safety); moment of Silence followed by Taps; and then closing by Pres. McLain.

Giant Jenga

7:00 PM until 9:00 PM

Organization: Food Services

Description: Come play the giant-size version of Jenga. You can win prizes or bonus bucks!

LSSU Kuk Sool Won Martial Art Classes

7:30 PM until 8:30 PM

Organization: Activities Board

Description: Join us for fitness, fun, and self-defense. Train with us in the Korean martial art of Kuk Sool Won. Try a free class, anytime. LSSU students and others meet on Monday and Wednesday nights. Students are also welcome on Tuesdays and Thursdays, during community-wide classes.
