LSSU Public Safety Mock Dorm Fire Exercise

4:00 PM until 5:00 PM


Description: LSSU Public Safety will be conducting its annual "Dorm Burn" exercise today. This exercise, during Fire Prevention Month, uses a mock dorm room to demonstrate how students can help protect themselves from residence hall fire hazards and to show them how quickly a structure can burn. The Sault Ste. Marie Fire Department will be on hand to work with LSSU fire science students in carrying out the 30-minute exercise. Rubber Band Shooting Contest

7:00 PM until 8:30 PM

Organization: Food Service

Description: Come out and compete in rubber band shooting for accuracy and distance. Winners will be awarded prizes!

LSSU Kuk Sool Won Martial Art Classes

7:30 PM until 8:30 PM

Organization: Activities Board

Description: Join us for fitness, fun, and self-defense. Train with us in the Korean martial art of Kuk Sool Won. Try a free class, anytime. LSSU students and others meet on Monday and Wednesday nights. Students are also welcome on Tuesdays and Thursdays, during community-wide classes.
