Athletic Training Month on Eagle 95.1 FM

Through the month of March, which is also Athletic Training Month, LSSU athletic training students and faculty have held a schedule of informational talks on Eagle Radio 95.1 FM in Sault Ste. Marie under the theme, "We prepare; You perform." The 5-10 minute radio interviews on Tuesday mornings have featured LSSU faculty, students, and community experts who either work as athletic trainers or work with them. Today, Dr. Joe Susi and Prof. Sarah Ouimette wrap up the month by discussing the LSSU athletic training program, careers, certification, and more.

Everett's program offers interviews with some of the university's most influential academic leaders, administrators, current students, alumni, and community leaders. The program offers an opportunity to showcase research and developments at LSSU and within the community. WLSO is heard locally, including a limited area around Sault, Ontario.

CopDocs Talk Show

Drs. Aaron Westrick and Frank Tridico invite you to listen to their weekly talk show "CopDocs" every Wednesday on WLSO 90.1 FM. This talk show focuses on law and criminal justice issues. Westrick, an LSSU criminal justice professor, hosts the program with co-host, program engineer and criminal justice student Greg Reinert. Tridico is a regular co-host every two weeks. The program is heard locally, including a limited area in Canada, and offers an intellectually stimulating exchange of ideas related to criminal justice, law and social issues. During the fall semester, topics included sexual assault awareness, crime scene investigation, police/community relationships and recent protests, the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, and national security.
