Application Requirements
The following documents below must be submitted with your application. Please ensure that you collect all required documents, upload them simultaneously, and submit your complete application package at once. This will streamline the application process and enable efficient review by the Graduate Admissions Committee.
Program Admission is granted to the student who wishes to pursue an MBA degree based upon an undergraduate GPA of 2.7 and review of the following documents:
- Education and Professional Resume
- Academics: We are interested in your higher education history.
- Professional: We are interested in your functional job skills, breadth and depth of experience, demonstrated leadership and management skills, and your potential for growth. We are more concerned with what you have learned in your positions rather than the length of time you’ve been in the workplace.
- Statement of Purpose (2-3 pages)
- State the reason that you are pursuing an MBA at LSSU. State what unique perspective, qualifications, experiences, and educational assets you would bring to the cohort. Include your goals and explain how the MBA program will help you achieve them.
- Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
- We require two letters of recommendation from individuals who are well acquainted with your performance in a work setting, preferably from a current or former supervisor. The title or position of the recommender is not as important as their ability to comment knowledgeably and specifically about you. Submit recommendations from people who can speak directly about your aptitudes and capabilities.
- Unofficial Transcript
- Submit your Unofficial Transcript from the most recent higher education institution you attended.
Review Process
Upon completion and submission of your application materials, the Graduate Admissions Committee will promptly review your submission.
- An interview will be scheduled within two weeks following the submission of your application. The MBA coordinator will work with the applicant to identify any knowledge gaps and to establish a plan to fill those gaps as needed.
- Following the interview, the Graduate Admissions Committee will assess your eligibility for the MBA program.
- Please be aware that admission to the program may be granted with specific conditions. One such condition could involve the submission of your final transcript. Alternatively, you may be asked to complete a foundational course(s) to achieve full admission status. It is essential to fulfill these conditions to obtain full acceptance into the program.
- The Graduate Admissions Committee will only admit a limited number of students for this cohort, with a maximum capacity of 30 students. Therefore, it’s possible that the Fall 2024 Cohort may reach its limit before the July 15, 2024, deadline.
Secure Your Spot
Upon approval, a $500 deposit will be required to secure your admission. This deposit will reserve your spot in the cohort and will be credited toward your tuition for your first course in the program. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable. Once the deposit is paid, you are officially enrolled.
We eagerly anticipate receiving your applications and welcoming you to our program.
