UnderthedirectionofLSSUfacultyandstafftheEALoffersundergraduatestudentsinternshipopportunitieswithinthelab.StudentInternsareinvolvedinallaspectsoflaboratoryoperation,affordingthemrealhandsonexperiencewithnotonlytheanalyticalsideofalaboratorybutalsobusinesssideincludingdatareportinganddirectclientinteraction.Thegoaloftheseinternshipsistoprovideourstudentswithaskillsetallowingthemtomakeaseamlesstransitiontotheworkforceorgraduateschool.TodatetheEALhasemployednearlysixtystudents,allofwhichhavemovedontobecomesuccessfulprofessionals.
