Study a selective curriculum of natural science courses including biology, chemistry, geology, and physics
Being a transfer student to LSSU was thankfully a seem-less transition. My advisor helped me sign up for classes and even helped with paperwork to get extra financial aid. The science professors were all so nice and welcoming. I appreciated the level of professionalism and knowledge my professors at LSSU had. They taught me a wide variety of new skills that I will be able to carry with me as I become a Secondary Science Teacher. Some skills I gained are writing professional lab reports, performing near perfect titrations, learning how to make students feel comfortable and relaxed on exam day, and lastly, I learned how important it is to make myself available for my students. My time at Lake Superior State University will never be forgotten!
