LSSU's Worksite Wellness Program invites all employees to a circuit training class that is open to individuals of all fitness levels. It will incorporate innovative and classic type exercises to provide an overall body workout each session, using dumbbells, body-weight-based exercises, a stationary bicycle and more. We will be incorporating all the components of fitness: muscular strength, muscular endurance, body composition, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance into the circuits, helping participants to improve their entire fitness status. Participants will obtain a great workout, while also learning new exercises to incorporate into their personal exercise routines. The class will meet for approximately one hour at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesdays in the Norris Center Dance Studio, room 208. LSSU Exercise Science senior Jessica Coullard will be instructing the class under the tutelage of Worksite Wellness Coordinator Jody Susi. This class is only open to LSSU Worksite Wellness members, so remember to update your membership if it has expired.
Everyone is welcome when magician and hypnotist David Hall comes to LSSU for two shows. Students get in free -- for everyone else, a $5 ticket gets you into two shows: a magic show performance at 8 p.m. and a comedic hypnotist performance at 9 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door.
