The School of Recreation Studies and Exercise Science's Exercise Physiology Laboratory is proud to bring back Free Fitness Fridays for spring semester! These sessions include a brief informative presentation from a senior exercise science student – this year it is Fred Williams of Sault Ste. Marie, who will discuss a variety of topics through the semester. The sessions have been moved to the Crow's Nest so you can take advantage of a lunch special at the Quarterdeck while listening to the presentation. Pick up lunch for just $3.50 and then join us! The program starts at 12:10 p.m. and you will be out and on your way in time for your 1 p.m. class or appointment. No workout clothes necessary; just listen while enjoying lunch. Everyone is welcome! Today's program: The Benefits of Working Out in Numbers - Just in time to get you back on track with your New Year's resolutions, this workshop will offer tips on how to get moving and stay moving during long winter months. Fred will talk about the importance of accountability and motivation when working out with others.
